Helen Carlie Wiley Brown, age 93, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 7, 2018. She was a loving mother, grandmother and for 70 years, a faithful pastor’s wife and companion, serving with her husband at various churches in 5 states. She was a longtime member of Forest Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Brown; parents, John and Maudie Wiley; brothers, Forrest and Cecil Wiley; and sisters, Mabel Loftis and Gladys Lawson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Brown; parents, John and Maudie Wiley; brothers, Forrest and Cecil Wiley; and sisters, Mabel Loftis and Gladys Lawson. She is survived by her daughters, Constance (Kenny) Johnson and Karen (Jim) Cowart; grandchildren, Scott (Page) Johnson, Keith Johnson, Mark (Rae) Cowart, Melissa Cowart, Camila Cowart; great grandchildren, Isaac, Amelia and Eden Johnson; Cora, Mary, Evelyn and Caleb Cowart; several nieces and nephews and special neighbors, Jennifer Joyner and son Jameson. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with a service following at 7:00pm. Interment will be Wednesday, 11:00am, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
